Fair play, shuffle and editorial policy

This page separates what the game actually does from what it doesn't claim to do.

Last implementation and editorial check: 15 October 2026

Practice game only. 21blackjack accepts no deposits and offers no prizes, withdrawals or cash-outs. Chips have no monetary value.

Rules used at this table

These rules matter because a basic-strategy decision can change when the table rules change. Every guide on the site is written for these exact rules.

How the shuffle works

The game builds a six-deck shoe in your browser and shuffles it with a Fisher–Yates shuffle, using JavaScript's built-in Math.random() random source. The software reshuffles the shoe before it runs low.

Important limitation: this shuffle is fine for a casual play-money practice tool. It has not been independently audited or certified, and it was never designed for real-money wagering. We don't describe it as casino-grade randomness.

What the strategy coach can and can't do

The coach compares each available decision with a fixed basic-strategy table for this site's six-deck, stand-on-soft-17 rules. It cannot know future cards, guarantee a win or remove the house edge. A correct decision can still lose, and a wrong decision can still win a single hand. Over many hands, the correct decision loses less.

Responsible play

Practising basic strategy does not make gambling safe or profitable. If you gamble elsewhere, set money and time limits before you start, never chase losses, and stop if gambling is causing stress or harm.
