About 21blackjack
21blackjack is a free, browser-based blackjack table built for one job: helping people learn to play the game properly before they ever sit at a real one.
You play against the dealer with play chips. There's nothing to download and no account to make, and a built-in strategy coach can show the correct play for each hand as you go.
Play money only. There are no deposits, prizes, withdrawals or cash-out features on this site. Chips have no monetary value.
What you can do here
- Play six-deck blackjack in any modern browser, on desktop or phone.
- Practise hit, stand, double and split decisions without risking anything.
- Turn on the strategy coach to compare each decision with the basic strategy chart.
- Read the guides, from the basic rules to soft hands, splitting, doubling and the house edge.
Game rules
The table uses six decks, the dealer stands on all 17s, blackjack pays 3 to 2, doubling is available on any two cards (including after a split), and pairs can be split up to four hands. Split aces receive one card each. There is no surrender.
How the practice game is designed
The aim is to make the flow of a blackjack round easy to understand. The table uses play chips and keeps the controls visible so you can focus on the decision in front of you. It is meant for learning the order of play, recognising hand totals and getting familiar with the common actions.
The strategy coach is a reference tool, not a promise of winning. Basic strategy cuts out avoidable decision errors under a specific set of rules, but it cannot remove the house edge or predict the next card.
What we focus on
The written material on 21blackjack is tied to the same rules the game uses. The rules guide, card-value guide, strategy chart and the longer guides work together, rather than mixing advice from different blackjack variants. When table rules change, the best decision can change too, so the guides say which rule each piece of advice depends on.
Editorial accountability
Rules and strategy claims are checked against the rules built into the practice table. We separate game facts from advice, disclose important technical limitations and correct material errors in place. We do not publish fabricated player reviews, success stories or claims of independent certification.
The fair play, shuffle and editorial notes explain how the game works and how corrections are made. If you spot a mistake, please tell us through the contact page.
Advertising
21blackjack is free to use and is supported by advertising served by Google AdSense. Ads are kept separate from the game and the guides, and nothing on the site is a paid recommendation. The privacy policy explains how advertising cookies work and how to turn off personalised ads.
Responsible use
This site is built around play-money practice. It does not accept deposits or offer gambling services, and it does not link to or promote online casinos. If you choose to gamble elsewhere, treat it as paid entertainment, set a firm budget and never chase losses. Gambling outcomes are uncertain and no strategy guarantees a profit.
